Gender, Sexuality, & Romance

Mao sees himself as a man and his manhood is extremely important to his self-identity. He is very uncomfortable in female or even vaguely feminine bodies, and he would be deeply upset if someone misgendered him as a woman.
Sexual Identity: Heterosexual / functional asexual
When Mao was a human, he was a very randy heterosexual. But living almost full-time in a cat's body has fucked with his sexuality. He still sees himself as human, so the idea of sex with other cats repulses him. But his cat body doesn't respond to human sexual stimuli, so he's no longer attracted to human women beyond a habitual appreciation. He wouldn't identify himself as an asexual -- he's not even really aware of it as an orientation -- but functionally he is one. (He isn't celibate by choice because he truly doesn't feel any sexual attraction at all.)
Romantic Identity: Aromantic
While he has been in some romantic relationships when he was a human, he has never really wanted love. He has always seen himself as eternally single and quite happy to be that way. Becoming a Contractor only exacerbated this.
